Life’s Lessons

We had many negative situations in 2023. I would even say more than our fare share. With that being said, I will also say we learned from so many of them. Some of them became blessings in disguise.

I was listening to a pod cast today as I was getting ready for to go to town. Pastor Jack Hibbs. It was cutting in and out but the part that played solid was “Everything you went through this year God had tailormade for you so your roots would go deeper.” Just when I thought I was at a breaking point in some situations. I know God helped me through it. I had to give it up to him because some situations were much bigger and heavier to handle.

So lets look at the Positive’s in 2023: Having a great place to work and free housing, Meeting new friends who have brought many blessings into our lives, Meeting my niece for the first time (love ya Hannah), Brian was able to start working for a farmer driving truck instead of being out in the cold during potato and beet harvest, having great friends in AZ who helped us through a rough time in the fall, being able to put up a shed on a best friends property so we could spend less on storage while we travel for work. Yes this year had a lot of trials for us but God was there all the way and came though for us.

I look forward to more blessings in 2024. Getting my roots set deeper.
