What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
I would say the most we have spent on a meal was in St Hilaire, Minnesota. We found a bar that served breakfast on a Saturday morning. That is something rare in Northern Minnesota.
After breakfast the owner/chef invited us to come back for dinner. Why not? Less cooking and cleaning to do on a winter day in Northern Minnesota.
The Broadway Station in St. Hilaire, Minnesota has steak night on Saturday nights. They only put out so many so if you ever want to go make sure you get there early! Call ahead to make sure they have it going on still. Also make sure Chance is the guy at the grill!

Now all of that is out of the way, here are some photos of the most expensive meals we have bought. Steaks marinated in butter and garlic! YUM!!

Brian loved the Tomahawk steaks there. When it says serves 2 it should have but it rarely made it home. I usually had the New York Strip. So those 2 alone totaled up to $97. Some nights we had baked potatoes with it, others the mashed potatoes were very good with brown gravy. After having a few beers before dinner and a couple of mixed drinks with dinner. I can easily say they were always the most expensive meals we had ever had that were actually good! I would say yes they were worth it.
Now if you want to know what the most expensive fast food junk food. Taco Bell in Holbrook, Arizona. 2 chicken crunch wraps and a drink. That was almost $40!!! Never again! Definitely NOT worth stopping. Hunger and not planning our meals got us on that trip.
So many good places to eat in our travels! We are on our way back up north now so we will see what lands on our plates.
Bon Appetite
