My Short Stay in Golden Valley, Arizona

After a few days a much needed rest after all of our travels, Brian needed to take off North Dakota. He will be working for the Beet Harvest. www.theunbeetableexperience.com More on that later.

I stayed in the Kingman area to look for work. My friend Shannon had a room that I could rent for a few months. It took me a couple of weeks putting out applications and I found a job in Kingman at Big Lots. My intent was to be there for 6 months, then join Brian in St John’s and work on our property for a month or two in the spring.

I joined a gym in Kingman that was close to work. Planet Fitness. I could go before work or after work and meet Shannon for a workout. Of course I didn’t use it like I had planned. After work all I wanted to do was go home make dinner and chill.

I met a few nudist friends there who have a small ranch. It was great to just go relax in the sun and let the body soak up the rays. Of course making sure no serious burns. The sun here in Arizona is super intense!

The double rainbow was amazing! To see it in full was WOW! I love seeing God’s Promise!

There is a fun Pizza place in Golden Valley if you ever visit the Kingman area. Great American Pizza. The owner holds raffles there for firearms and all proceeds go to a local charity or something in need of funds. The raffle I bought tickets to went to the Golden Valley Fire Fighters. I had never heard of a pizza place doing that. Kudos to GAP for holding true to the American Dreams and the US Constitution! Crazy enough, I did win the raffle the day before I left to go to Minnesota. It is being kept safely at a location in Kingman until I am done working in Minnesota.

As per life for us, things were about to take another turn in our journey. I will be leaving the Kingman area sooner than I expected. A future post will have that adventure.

I was able to spend some good time with my friend and met some great people there too! A big shout out to Jake and his wife at the Bear Butt Ranch in Golden Valley! I look forward to going to see them again.
